Migration¶
Most upgrades are automated: you grab the latest configuration files, merge them with your existing ones and restart the stack, as described in Upgrading Version. Some versions also require manual steps, before or after the upgrade. Each guide below lists what to do when you upgrade to that version.
Before any upgrade, back up your data.
If you skip several versions, read every guide between your current version and the target version, in order. For example, to upgrade from 17.0.x to 18.0.0, read 17.0.x to 17.1.0, then 17.1.x to 18.0.0.
