# Virtual user selection

![select-virtual-user](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/runtime/edit-scenario/edit-user-profile/img/select-virtual-user.png)

This screen allows you to select the [Virtual User](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/design/) that this runtime profile will execute. Using **Go to virual user design** you can get back to the [design screen](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/design/edit-virtual-user/) for this particular virtual user.

!!! info
It is only possible to select a single virtual user for a given profile, but you can [add multiple profiles](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/runtime/edit-scenario/advanced-scenario/) in order to have a mix of virtual users in your test.

!!! tip
A user profile running a [K6 Virtual User](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/design/create-virtual-user/import-k6-scripts/) gets the [K6 settings](https://api.octoperf.com/doc/runtime/edit-scenario/edit-user-profile/options/k6/) panels, **Script**, **HTTP** and **Network**, in place of the JMeter ones. A scenario can mix user profiles running JMeter, Playwright and K6 virtual users.
